This client was a mid-sized financial technology company, servicing the fund management industry. They did not have a procurement department, did not have specific procurement expertise in house and had limited resources available to deal with several major sourcing initiatives. They recently embarked on a 5-year IT Modernization Program and we needed assistance to help them select a Managed Security Services Provider by managing the RFP process. They wanted to work with a team that had procurement experience and who could act fast to meet their extremely tight timelines.
The ProcurePro team were able to quickly learn the client’s business requirements and develop a Request for Proposal (RFP) lightening fast. We worked very closely with the client team, managed the RFP process, helped the client evaluate all the responses and presentations. The ProcurePro team helped the client select that best solution as well as identified specific concerns with the proposed contract. Ultimately, ProcurePro was able to look out for our client’s best interests without them having to build procurement capability in-house.
ProcurePro saved the client a substantial amount of time launching and managing the entire sourcing process and even helped improve the contractual terms. This client has since used ProcurePro for two other procurement projects; Infrastructure and Professional Services.
